I finally get to update the blog with some photos taken over the last week or so. Not much going on at the plot, just putting down wood chips to help the soil and break down over this wet winter. There are lots of worms under the wood chips and they help to break them down as well. I’m also trying to sort the paths over the next few months.
So here’s some photos:
Garlic – Mainly shop bought varieties all growing ok at the mo, just worried they will end up waterlogged.
Broad Beans – Aquadulce Claudia – Wind battered but still ok.
Strawberries – The leaves should be almost gone by now. I threw a few wheelbarrows of woodchips over the top but they still keep growing away.
A view of my plot from the top end. The sheds behind the camera.
Daffodils growing away in the garden.
Don’t think I’ve seen this before – one of my sons has AS, so I know a bit about it. His started when he was still at primary school, but fortunately for him he seems to manage to most of what he wants to (though I know with quite a bit of pain). Sorry to hear that you also have it.
